Founded in 1918, The Worthys WI has continued to meet regularly apart from a break during WW11.
Meetings are held at the Lionel Tubbs Hall, Fraser Road, Kings Worthy, SO23 7PJ at 2pm on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month (except August when we have a social event or trip.) Within the Worthys WI there is a Scrabble Group, a Reading Group, a Craft Group and a Walking Group. Members regularly attend theatre trips or meet at the bi-monthly lunch club. There is also a popular summer garden tea party. Do come along and join in the fun.
2018 is the CENTENARY YEAR for the NFWI, the HCFWI and also for The WORTHYS WI.
There are many special events planned, including our own, so we will be bringing you details as the year progresses.
