Morning Tide WI meets on the second Wednesday of the month at the Methodist Church Hall, High Street, Lee-on-the-Solent, PO13 9NY at 10 am.
We have a varied programme of speakers each month and we also have a choir, ukelele group, a reading group, walking group, and a knitting/crochet group. Other activities are lunches at local restaurants every 2-3 months and our newest group is a friendship group which meets for company and support and visits to cinema, theatre, restaurants etc. We pack shoeboxes for the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child charity each year. The latest venture for our Knitting and Crochet Group is making ventilator bonnets and tiny cardigans for the pre-prem baby unit at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Pocrtsmouth.
There will be a very warm welcome for anyone wishing to come as a visitor to see if we are the group for them.
