Whiteley WAGs are a modern twist on the traditional WI model. We are bright and lively and our aim is to have fun in our WI. Our membership is around 65 at present.
During the pandemic we have held our monthly meetings via Zoom, and have enjoyed having a range of different speakers, both local, national and international.
We have a range of active sub-groups, Craft, Book, Dress for Dinner, Walking and New Age Kurling. Both Craft and Book Clubs have continued to meet via Zoom since March 2020. The Book club meets every month and enjoys lively discussions, and the Craft group also meet each month to learn a new craft in an easy, relaxed atmosphere, always lots of chatting and laughter, we like to think of it as our little bit of mindfulness each month.
As we move slowly out of restrictions we are planning to meet up face to face shortly, full details will be on our website, www.whiteleywags.co.uk
Please take a look around our website and if you like the look of what we do please do email us as we welcome visitors, whiteleywags@gmail.com
