Titchfield Abbey is a friendly and welcoming Women’s Institute Group which meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Titchfield Community Centre, Mill Lane at 9.30a.m. There is normally a speaker at each meeting. Those new to the area, or perhaps recently retired, or the children are now at school, all are welcome to come along and try this active group.
Newcomers and visitors are always welcome and can have a tea or coffee, meet the members and hear about the many activities which members enjoy, including as well as the traditional crafts and cooking, the opportunity to perhaps join a theatre trip, visits to places of interest, enjoy one of the walks, or join a book group. The WI offers women the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and have an interest in wide-ranging issues.
Titchfield Abbey WI would be happy to welcome other groups visiting this historic area, perhaps for afternoon or cream tea, maybe a light lunch, by prior arrangement with the Secretary Jane Smith: email: titchfieldabbeysec@hampshire.org.uk
