Founded in 1918, The Worthys WI has continued to meet regularly apart from a break during WW11.
Meetings are held at the Lionel Tubbs Hall, Fraser Road, Kings Worthy, SO23 7PJ at 2pm on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month (except August when we have a social event or trip.)
Within the Worthys WI there is a Scrabble Group, a Reading Group, a Craft Group and a Walking Group. Members regularly attend theatre trips or meet at the bi-monthly lunch club.
During 2019 we put in an entry to the Littleton Show WI Competition, and also shared a stall at the Kings Worthy Fete with Lovedon Ladies WI. Several of our members took part in the Xmas concert with the Winchester Group of WIs with a dance route, monologues and ukulele band.
Do come along and join in the fun.
