We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 2 o’clock at St Laurence’s Church Hall, Station Road, Petersfield, GU32 3ED. (Access is gained by the driveway adjacent to the presbytery, which is next to the Church.)
All visitors are warmly welcome and our Visitor’s Hostess will make sure they feel at home.
We have a Speaker most months and a small competition which raises “pennies for ACWW” (Associated Country Women of the World).
During the year we hold a couple of fun events – A Beetle Drive in the Spring and Skittles evening in the Autumn. These events are enjoyed with a supper of fish and chips and a glass of wine. We also go out for pub lunches, go on outings and in December we enjoy our Christmas Lunch. Ladies who like to swim can join other members on a regular trip to the pool at the Taro Centre. There is also a knit and chat group which meets monthly at the houses of various members.
As part of the Hampshire Federation, Petersfield WI can take part in meetings, courses and events that they organise within the County. Also, Petersfield WI is one of several institutes which make up the Petersfield Villages Group who hold meetings and events several times a year, enabling members from the various institutes to get together and have fun.
