We meet on the 2nd Thursday each month 2-15 for 2.30 start until 4.30pm
The Village hall is situated on the main A27 between Southampton and Romsey, with its entrance alongside the Chilworth Arms pub/restaurant. The postcode is SO16 7LD. There is a ramp at the back of the hall to enable wheelchair / disabled access and there is a loo/wash room with easy disabled access. Click here for a map.
On 12th January – we held our extra special meeting with Dame Esther Rantzen and our 250 invited other Hampshire WI ladies
Our next meeting is on Thursday 8th November – and our speaker is Jane-Ann Rogers and is titled ‘From Goats to Garments’ she will be demonstrating how to turn goat fleece into garments and will be spinning throughout her talk.
Chilworth WI singing Group – newly formed – We opened the Performing Arts concert and sang our Anniversary Song, which was written and arranged by Val Hickox. We all really enjoyed the evening, so lets see where it all goes from here. Please come and join us – it is a fun sing-along – Just for fun. Open to all even if you are not a ‘Katherine Jenkins or Adele –
Evening Book / Reading Group – This Group meet every six weeks. The meeting is held at a members house. The next date is 6th November– with “Together” by Julia Cohen., after that it will be the book ‘Three things about Elsie’ by Joanne Cannon on 15th January 2019. After a few enquiries, we are in the process of trying to put together an Afternoon Book Reading Group. Please email email@example.com for update on progress and if you are interested in joining
Craft Group to include knit, crochet, needlework, paper crafts, embroidery – and any other crafts requested – just to get us started. Held on the 1st Thursday of the month, at North Baddesley Baptist Church Hall – Nutburn Road 2pm – 4pm – the next meeting will be on 1st November – and – Cost £4.00 per session depending on numbers to cover cost of hall hire. Refreshments supplied. .
Theatre Group – Seats booked for final dress rehearsal of ‘The Life of Riley’ at the Plaza Romsey on 12th November – seats just £2.50. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to be added to the list

NEW – Walking Netball – The ball is rolling and will soon be thrown about when we get our final enrolment to the National Walking Netball events – Watch this Space
New Table Tennis Group – This has been set up by one of our members and will be held at her house every other Tuesday afternoon for up to 8 people at a time. It is going well and all ladies, newbies, beginners and ‘Murrayettes’ are enjoying it and having fun.
