We are a friendly village WI with membership between 30 – 40 ; we meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 2 pm in the Village Hall, Long Lane, Bursledon, SO31 8BZ .
We take part, with varying degrees of success, in darts, skittles and quizzes. We also have craft meetings and the occasional afternoon tea. Theatre trips are popular amongst our members and in the summer we have outings to places of interest. We have a competition each month, and of course, the keenly contested ‘Bloom of the Month’. Our field of interests and social events are widened by belonging to the Hamble River Group of WI’s.
Our meetings end with tea and biscuits, and lots of chat.
If you fancy a pleasant afternoon in friendly company please come and join us, as we always welcome new members.
