Bashley WI is part of the Brockenhurst Group; we meet the 2nd Friday of the month at New Milton & District Community Centre, New Milton, at 2 p.m. We have 45 members and are always pleased to see visitors, where they will be given a warm welcome.
Our members attended the Bashley Village Day in July and had a very successful day on our WI Table selling cakes, books, handmade jewellery and plants. This was in aid of funds for our WI.
Recently we entered a team of five into the Quiz competition, Skittles and various other inter-Group competitions (between the Brockenhurst Group of WIs). We won the Group round of the Quiz….on to the County round!
Bashley recently had a very good entry in the Brockenhurst Group show, a craft and produce show.
Bashley had a good entry at the WI Tent at the New Forest Show in the Summer.
