Welcome to Barton Stacey WI page, we hope you will find plenty to interest you. Our WI is just five years old and has a mixed age range but it is well known for being friendly and welcoming to the Village Hall, The Street, Barton Stacey SO21 3RH.
Like most WIs we haven’t been able to hold meetings in the hall for the last year but there are positive comments about us being back in the Hall before long. However, we have managed to hold a meeting almost every month, using Zoom, for Quizzes, Talks from some brilliant speakers not to mention the Bingo night last summer when there was a lot of noise coming from members’ gardens – all done by Zoom and mobile phone technology.
We are now about to launch our new exciting programme incorporating the traditional Summer Social in August and the Craft Meeting in autumn. If you do visit, you will find there is always plenty of lovely home made cake and coffee/tea to enjoy over a chat. Meetings are on the last Thursday of the month (except August and December).
At the moment all the meetings for 2021/22 are planned to be held over ZOOM, however as soon as we are able, and it is safe to do so, we will look to hold meetings in person in the hall.
