Winton is a very lively and happy WI, whose members come from all over the Winchester area and is a City WI. We meet on the first Monday of each month, except August. We meet in St Lawrence Parish Rooms, Colebrook Street, Winchester (behind the Guildhall) SO23 9LH. Winton is part of the Winchester Group of WIs. There are two book groups as well as a variety of outings and visits to accommodate all tastes. Over the past few months, we have been delighted to welcome new members and visitors. President Vara and the committee look forward to welcoming new faces. Winton members are involved in the local community by helping with the refreshments for the visitors at Winchester Prison; Reading, Editing and Recording for the Winchester Talking Newspapers for the visually impaired. Members cook a meal once a month for Winchester Night Shelter. You will find Winton is a very happy and friendly WI.
