Titchfield Abbey is a friendly and welcoming Women’s Institute Group which meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Titchfield Community Centre, Mill Lane at 9.30a.m. There is normally a speaker at each meeting.
Newcomers and visitors are always welcome and can have a tea or coffee, meet the members and hear about the many activities which members enjoy, including as well as the traditional crafts and cooking, the opportunity to perhaps join a theatre trip, or a visit to a garden or stately home, enjoy one of the walks, or join a book group. The WI offers women the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and campaign on wide-ranging issues.
Titchfield Abbey WI would be happy to welcome other groups visiting this historic area, perhaps for afternoon or cream tea, maybe a light lunch, by prior arrangement with the Secretary.
We have been proud to have one of our members, Maureen Levenson, as Hampshire Federation Chairman from 2015-2018.
