Smell those lovely roses at Mottisfont
We are a very friendly WI, who enjoy eleven meetings a year on the third Monday of the month, but not August. We are part of the Winchester Group of WIs and enjoy extra events organised through the Group. Not only do we enjoy our meetings, with excellent speakers, but we have a thriving book group and a knit and natter group. Most months there is a Coffee Morning and there is a Craft Afternoon, held at St Marks Church on a Monday Afternoon, see below for dates. All these events are because they interest us, but we are always happy to arrange more to suit members’ interests.
Instead of a meeting in the hall, there is a visit to a local garden, this year it was The Deane House, Sparsholt for the July meeting.
Olivers Battery members helped to steward the Winchester Half Marathon in September.
Monthly meetings are held at St Peter’s Primary School, Olivers Battery Road North, SO22 4JB at 7.45pm.
