The coach trip to Chatham Historic Dockyard was a success. 29 ladies boarded the coach and during the day we had a Call the Midwife Tour around the dockyard where the TV series is filmed, enjoyed a fish and chip lunch, and all the other attractions at the dockyard. A cream tea topped us up before our journey home. The weather was kind to us as well.
Plans are in the pipeline for a trip in September 2017 to Bletchley Park – home of the WW2 codebreakers . There may be a few available places = cost £38 includes entry.
Bridge Group – Hopefully in the process of being set up – more info at WI meeting in July
Please feel free to email us at email@example.com for any further information on any of the above groups, or any other enquiries.
Visitors are welcome to attend two consecutive meetings after which we hope you will join Chilworth W.I. – if there is a space.
