Mrs Eileen Harding was elected President and Mrs Marian Dewey remains as Secretary for the year 2016.
We are a happy, friendly group of about 26 members, enjoying the cinema, theatre, outings, coffee mornings and short break holidays.
We also enjoy attending meetings organised by the County Federation and visiting other groups.
Several members also belong to other organisations such as Ladies Luncheon Club etc.
Our outing this year is a Midsummer Country and Goring Gap cruise This takes place on Friday, 16th September and the tour includes morning coffee, a lunch in Dorchester plus a 90 minute cruise from Wallingford to the Goring Gap.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7.30pm at St. Peter’s Church Hall, Shakespeare Road, Eastleigh.
Extra events will be arranged during the year such as February dinner, fun skittles, garden party, outings etc.
The Birthday Meeting in June will be held on Thursday, June 9th 2016 where Mr John Richards will give a talk on “Life under German Rule in Jersey”.
